A popular day trip from Reykjavik, it features thunderous waterfalls, spouting geysers, crater lakes, geothermal pools, and wide open roads. Overpriced, overcrowded and overrun with tourists. Iceland’s Blue Lagoon is all these things. But it is also tranquil, therapeutic and overwhelmingly beautiful.
